I am Linda Coontz’s sister in law. We were there last week and THANK GOD I didn’t wear socks with my flip flops!!! It was cooler than I wanted it to be, but had a great time!!!

Hi, Sara! Glad you’re enjoying the blog. Sorry I have been a little lax about posting lately. With the holidays and high season approaching, we have been crazy busy, seeing to annual maintenance issues and getting ready for things like the Innkeepers Holiday Tour of Inns that we are participating in (today’s big project is to haul all the decorations out of storage — we should be looking quite festive by the end of the day). Ok, so I ran a google search for “Florida Keys Blog” and this was the first accommodation site I came across. What pot-luck – Your photos for Tropical Inn look absolutely stunning. I wasn’t actually specifically looking for Fantasy Fest related stays (hoping for a more relaxing holiday in middle Keys in fact), but now you’ve got me thinking about a twin-centre stay for 2010.
I’m travelling out of the UK with very limited tour operators who specialise in Florida Keys (we have Florida Keys villas who have started to provide Keys holidays), but I’d like to avoid Virgin Holidays. Having found your blog site, I am extremey tempted in booking flights and Marathon villa with one of the UK firms and then enquiring for next year availability with Tropical Inn…
