Still one of the best December 16, 2007 14 out of 16 found this review helpful
Like other reviews have said, this new version doesn't have much about the new things at Disney for 2008, so if you have the 2007 version you should probably just stick with that. But if you haven't bought a Disney guidebook yet, you should know that this one is a must. It has probably a thousand little bits of information to help you plan your trip, especially if you're planning to go to Universal Studios as part of your vacation. The other book I would recommend is the The Complete Guide to Walt Disney World 2008, especially if you're planning to spend a large number of days at Disney. It has the most information about Disney World and is filled with gorgeous color photos.
this is an essential book before you go to WDW December 11, 2007 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
We have purchased an Unofficial Guide before every trip to WDW and each time we learn so much more. It makes the difference between letting WDW control you and getting want you want out of your trip. If you don't like lines, purchase this book.
It's All About Disney! December 2, 2007 24 out of 25 found this review helpful
I have made many trips to Disney World with and without kids. Everytime, I have used the Unofficial Guide to plan the trips. These guides have saved me countless hours and money. Over the years, I have also read many other Disney Guides but none compare to this one! Everything you ever wanted or needed to know (and then some) about having a great trip to Disney World are included in these guides.
The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2008 December 2, 2007 27 out of 27 found this review helpful
My husband and I are planning a trip with our youngest 3 to WDW. This book has been invaluable in the planning. From lodging (on-property and off-property) to ticket prices to special events we wouldn't have been able to attend had we not reserved in advance, this book is a great tool. It also gives tips on how to tour the different theme parks to minimize wait times.
Disney also has a way of packaging things that makes it hard to compare pricing, and I am always thinking that they are trying to get more out of their visitors than necessary. This Guide also helps us break down their packages. Knowing that we are going to spend a lot of money on this trip, this resource helps us to get the most for our money.
A must have for every Disney World guest November 24, 2007 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
We have used these books for our last 5 trips to Walt Disney World and would never go without it. It's the best!!
