Great Book March 8, 2006 I have always been intrested in Disney and their theme parks and rides. My actualy career goal is to one day be an imagineer and this book is perfect to learn about how an imagineer thinks when looking at Magic Kingdom. Very colourful book in perfect imagineer and disney style. Highly recommended book.
Great Fun February 2, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I loved this book. I try to get to Disney every couple of years or so and this book will really get me pumped to go. Bring it with you. If you like Disney at all, you'll love this book. I can't wait for the Epcot book coming out in June 2006.

I gave one of these to each of my 4 children for Christmas and they have all really enjoyed it. It is full of lots of fun facts. We've been to MK several times, but are anxious to check out some of the things we learned from the book. We'd like to see the equivalent for Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and MGM Studios as well.
Fun topic, but cursory coverage December 31, 2005 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
The topic of the book is fun, and many of the tidbits that the author shares are interesting and surprising, but overall the book is remarkably small and short. The total amount of text included is minimal, and because of the small size of the book most of the pictures and illustrations are reproduced at postage-stamp scale.
Because this is a "field guide" I guess the small size is intentional, so that one can carry this along on a trip to WDW. But overall I felt that the short content didn't justify the price.
Interesting, but a little thin December 28, 2005 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a must for any imagineering freak, although the true fans will likely know much of what's here. It's a bit thin, with only a few bits of information about any particular part of the park or attraction.
If you're wandering the park and want a quick "inside" bit of info, this is very good. But it left we wishing it were 3 or 4 times thicker.
