5 out of 5 stars Makes it easy to have fun   April 15, 2007

We bought this book at Disney over Easter and it made a great addition to our vacation. The gorgeous photographs remind you how special Disney World is. But besides that the information is rich with interesting detail. I found myself reading it all hours of the day. It covers not only the theme parks, but also off-the-beaten-path activities that you never hear about. My youngest loved his pony ride, and we would have never known about it without this book. And on the theme parks these authors seem to know more than Disney's own tour guides. When my daughter and I went on an extra-cost tour of the Magic Kingdom, we stumped the guide on eight different occasions! The book's hotel information isn't as long-winded as the Unofficial Guide, but it has everything you need to know and all the vital facts and figures. The number 1 reason to buy this book is that it helps you remember your trip because of the photographs. My husband and I check-marked everything our kids and us did.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent book!   April 5, 2007
Our family bought this book when we were at Disney World last week, and we really liked it! It was a great addition to our visit. The book has tons of incredible photographs and interesting articles. It starts off with a lot of good introductory material about Disney World, and then is very full of information about the theme parks and things to do. We especially liked the thorough information about the rides and shows -- for many of the classic attractions, such as Pirates of the Caribbean, It's A Small World and Muppetvision 3D, there are multiple pages that describe them in detail. We found the book especially helpful to glance through just before we headed out each morning, as then we knew exactly what to look for. It made each day more fun. The book is written by a couple who live right next to Disney World, so it gives you both a tourist and local perspective.
