Pretty good, on many counts June 14, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
A useful guide for anyone planning a trip to Disney World. Especially helpful are the charts in each chapter that give detailed information on attractions. The information includes a brief rating on the ride or show, the length, and any minimum height requirements. As I got this "2007" guide for Christmas, six months before our trip, I should say that there were some pieces of information that were outdated when I got it in 2006.
However, the publisher has done a respectable job to gather and include information from families who have visited Disney. These insights apply to the parks and surrounding resorts. Its not perfect, but proved to be one of several useful tools in planning our family vacation.

I'm in the process of reading this in preparation for an upcoming vacation to Disney World. Helpful tips that I plan to use.
Excellent resource May 18, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My 12 year old daughter used this book to guide our family through a 7 day Disney vacation, visiting all 4 theme parks, the water parks and many other features and services at Walt Disney World. I'd been to Disney World 19 years ago (before our 3 kids came) and was expecting a week of long lines and not being able to see as much as we'd like. This book was worth 10 times it's price! We were able to navigate Disney World like pro's, and we only waited in 1 line all week, and saw all of the attractions that we had wanted to. The book was right-on with it's suggestions about when to see and do things. I would never go back there without this book.
A must have for any Disney-goer! May 12, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This book has so much valuable information. I purchased the 2005 edition for our trip that year. We ended up carrying it around the parks with us.
I recently purchased the 2007 edition for our upcoming trip. I cannot say enough about the tips and guidelines in this book. By far, this is the best Disney guide on the market for those folks traveling with children.
WDW with Kids May 12, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This book is terrific. Birnbaums WDW book was always a recomendation of mine when I was a Travel Agent. This one specifically geared toward families with kids is over the top great. Hints are so good, we are going , a family group of 10 to WDW in end Sept. with 4 kids, 7 and under. So many suggestions are right on the mark for our situation. Recommend it for everyone.
