a must have :) April 26, 2006 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
This book was my lifeline during a recent Disneyworld vacation! Their maps of the theme parks make more sense than the ones provided by Disney..I would advise you to just tear out the maps and stick them in your pocket for easy access while navigating the different worlds. The tips provided by Jennifer, Dave, Allie and Alexander really helped me choose the appropriate rides for my toddler - thanks guys! PS: heed their advice about bringing raingear and comfortable shoes :)
WDW--`06 March 24, 2006 I found this book very useful in keeping me organized! I put everything in there--reservation numbers, taxis, hotels... Plus it now holds the complete record of our trip. I recorded which park per day and what we did that was cool! It now holds all of our receipts, guidebooks, maps, etc! Plus, We did not use all the days so when we went back I redated the next pages and recorded that trip as well! And, we can still use it the next time we come! Really cool! Thanks!
Worth Buying March 16, 2006 8 out of 12 found this review helpful
I bought four different travel books about Disney/Orlando. This is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite. Very interesting, easy to read and informative. It would also be a nice gift for someone traveling to Disney. Both my 12 and 14 year old like this book -it is probably their favorite. It has several pull out maps of each park and pockets for organizing trip information.
The down side to this book is that it only addresses Disney. If you are interested in other attractions in Orlando - this book is not for you. It also does not go into great detail - it does cover the important things.
In any event, I have decided to buy this book as a gift to any of my friends planning a vacation to Disney.
Great Psudo-scrapbook March 13, 2006 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I purchased this for our upcoming vacation. I found the information very detailed and mostly unbiased. I love the pockets and tabs, very easy to use. I am not a scrapbooker but I plan on using this book as my vacation "scrapbook". The pockets will hold those bits and pieces of "memory" like napkins, brochures, etc. My only wish is that the spiral binding could be opened so the folder could be taken out and then put back in. I think it may in the deluxe addition. All in all, great value for the price. Would also be great for getting the kids involved in the planning and budgeting.
Enjoy the Updates! March 10, 2006 15 out of 16 found this review helpful
We really like the updated versions of the Passporter texts. One of our favorite parts about the text is that the author "highlights" or shades in a different color, the new information from the previous year's version. So if you've recently been to Disney World, you can easily see what is new! Great idea! We also like the new color format.
