The most valuable Disney Travel Guide out there. February 8, 2006 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
This book is a must have! Every page is loaded with useful information. My favorite part is the detailed information on the restaurants and rides. I wouldn't plan a trip to Disney World without it, not a one day trip or a two week excursion.
A must have book for planning your WDW vacation February 3, 2006 42 out of 43 found this review helpful
From the moment that first inkling to travel to Walt Disney World pops into your head, you should purchase this book. PassPorter Walt Disney World 2006 is essential for planning your Disney World vacation, whether you're dreaming of your first, once-in-a-lifetime trip or you're going for the 3rd time this year!
With timelines for planning, worksheets for budgeting, and suggestions for money-saving programs, you really cannot afford to begin planning WITHOUT this book.
It will help you determine the best ways to get to Orlando, where to stay (both on-site and off-site), the typical weather for your timeframe, and they even give suggestions of what to pack.
With all the dining options in The World, the information given about the restaurants and the reviews are vital to planning a delicious tour of Disney's terrific (and not-so-terrific) restaurants.
This new version has fold old maps of the parks IN COLOR, along with reviews and information on each park's rides and attractions, including ratings from Allison Marx, a 13-year-old girl, and tips for traveling with a toddler.
I personally love the "pockets" in the back that allow for tracking important numbers and information for your journey as well as for keeping notes and receipts organized from your trip as you complete each day in Orlando. It's a wonderful way to preserve the memories of your trip -- you may even find yourself thumbing through the pockets long after you've returned, just to remember what a great time you had.
The Marxes also host a terrific discussion board on-line where fans of Walt Disney World and PassPorter gather together to share ideas, tips, plans, and camaraderie - http://www.passporter.com - click on the "Community" tab to find a group of terrific people who are as dedicated to WDW as the Marxes.
